About Me

Picture
My name is Charity. I was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (military brat). I have lived outside of the US. I now call North Carolina home. I live close to my family which includes some extended family. I have been in the Law Enforcement family in one way or another for the past 10 years. Currently I am a Corrections Officer in an all male Prison that houses around 800 inmates. I did not finish College but intend to go back!

I am strong willed and have been called spirited. I speak my mind freely which sometimes leads to trouble! I am a big dreamer. I also love to write. I have always intended to write a novel...just forgot where I put my pen! I have a beautiful little boy! He is a joy. He is full of laughs, smiles, and life! I have been married for over 6 years but this year we decided that we were better without each other. Now I have a new "Special someone" in my life. He has made my life fun again...Thank you Steve!
I enjoy a myriad of movies. I am musically Schizophrenic. I love the smell of fresh cut grass and hay fields. The smell of wood burning in a fire place makes me warm all over! I love a good steak on the grill...Yummy! I love to read. I enjoy Autumn most and Halloween is my favorite Holiday! I am a huge fan of birthdays. I like to bake. I take a lot of pics and tend to never have them printed! I have a Christmas Tree that is to big for my house. Speaking of my house...my lastest dream is to buy a larger home in the next year or two. I think I would really like to have a garden. I also tend to be a pack rat and truly believe that all my "crap" will come in handy one day.
My passion in life is Horses! I currently own two horses, Bella and Tuff. I also own dogs, cats, birds, ducks, and a chicken! My life is ever changing.

"Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives." ~ Frederick F. Flack
